Guideline for Submissions

There is no minimum or maximum word count. Submitted work cannot have been previously published, nor be forthcoming in an archival journal or book (print or electronic).
Please note: "publication" in a working-paper series does not constitute prior publication. In addition, by submitting material to The Colonnade, the contributor is stipulating that the material is not currently under review at another journal (electronic or print) and that he or she will not submit the material to another; although contributors may enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the Journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in The Colonnade.

Contributors are permitted to post their work online in institutional repositories or on their own websites. It should include a citation and link to the journal's website.
